Our Story

PivoTea was born from a simple need: to pause.

I’m Natalia — a maker at heart, originally from Argentina and now based in Sydney. My path has always been shaped by creating with my hands — from jewellery to textiles — and by a deep connection to what we feel, even in the smallest moments.

Back home, mate was my daily ritual — a constant, grounding presence. As I began building a life far from that familiarity, I found myself drawn to herbal teas. Not just for their flavors, but for what they offered: a different kind of pause, one grounded in intention.

Over time, I began to see tea the same way I see everything I create. Just like a handcrafted piece, each blend carries energy, purpose, and quiet meaning.

PivoTea was created to exist within real life — not outside of it.

The name comes from the idea of a pivot. In everyday life, we move through many directions — between responsibility and rest, energy and softness, movement and stillness. We wear different hats, care for different people, and hold many desires, all while trying to find balance.

PivoTea was created as a gentle way to support those shifts. A small ritual that meets you where you are and accompanies you through whatever the moment calls for.

This is not just tea.
It’s a small ritual. A sensory experience. A gentle return to yourself.

From the very beginning, PivoTea came together intuitively. When I shared the vision with my sister, she immediately understood the feeling behind it. Together, we created the visual identity and packaging as an extension of that intention — thoughtfully designed with an eco-conscious approach and made to feel both beautiful and meaningful.
